i think heaven is just what we call it when you're ultimately okay with how the rest of eternity goes from this point on, one way or the other. if it can only get more perfect from here, then you had a good run. such a good run, in fact, that you put yourself around the best people possible. the ones who can carry you into the future. when the only thing that can make the world better is you being in it, that's when you leave it for everyone else. we just gotta chase you to perfection. so when it hits close and when it hits violently, when it feels the most tragic, when it's a surprise, when it doesn't make sense anymore, that's when you know that things are going to start getting better. because the wave is catching up. if you feel the waves at your toes you know the tide is coming. you bout to be risen up on something. because that someone they took from you needed you with them until the very end, until nothing else could ever be better, and if it was? well that's just a welcome surprise, what could ever be better than that?

so let's surprise eachother tonight

so subsequently when we look back at those we lose, we must ask ourselves to reflect upon how they left us. did they leave us loving us? appreciating us? missing us? did they leave us alone? if they were alone, how come? do you think they felt it? because you can be alone in space but you're never alone in time unless you're the first or the last, and the stuff you did begets the stuff you will do as well as the stuff that will be done in your wake, and sometimes that balance can shift.

if you know for goddamned sure that they left you knowing that you loved them and that youd see them tomorrow, then you know that to them, somewhere, you did, and that world was the better place they deserve it to be. they found heaven, because they are there and we are not, and sometimes that is the only thing that makes the difference.

so if you sit there, thinking to yourself, that the only thing that would make me smile more than i am right now is you, then think of them, because now you're in heaven.

we should all be so lucky to have our last words be "see you tomorrow"
